Revenge Review : S2E5 “Forgiveness”

Revenge has the habit of presenting game changers on a frequent basis that changes the landscape of the whole show. The game changer this episode was Jennifer Jason Leigh’s introduction as Kara Clarke. This introduction changed the playing field and raised the odds while raising a whole set of questions more than the questions it answered.

Kara succeeded in providing Victoria, played by Madeleine Stowe with a worthy opponent of a new kind. This new opponent had a whole set of secrets and hidden skeletons and what made it ever more interesting is that Kara has her own agenda that no one else knows or even understands. The confrontation between Kara and Victoria Grayson was amazing. They hugged each other in slow motion as they both try to measure each other while having no clue about their motivations. This made it clear that the introduction of Kara was definitely not a part of the master plan of Victoria.

As the man with the white hair is still breathing and Victoria thinking that Kara is giving him information, she decided to lay a plan with Conrad and they decide to get married again. The reason behind the marriage is a legal one. When they become husband and wife, they have the right not to testify against one another when the FBI comes to knock on their doors.

The wedding is going to take place on the upcoming episode of the show. You can find the upcoming episode’s promo that is entitled “Illusion” below:
