There have been a lot of rumors concerning the joining of the pop star Britney Spears to the cast of The X Factor as a judge. This recent addition would be to fill one of the two spots that got emptied by the departure of 2 female judges; Paula Abdul and Nicole Schrzinger. Both of them left by the end of season one of The X Factor. So she is expected to bring her star power to the show to replace one of these two. Simon Cowell commented on these rumors by saying that if it was up to him to get Britney Spears to join the show, he would do it instantly. This means that the rumors are not confirmed yet, but the way he talked about it gave everyone hope. This comment was a part of an interview during his ex American Idol’s radio show partner, Ryan Secrest.

He also said that the show will soon know if Britney the Toxic singer is going to join the cast for sure or not, this means that there are actually talks about it with Britney. He also added that there is a long list of names proposed by the show for people to replace the two departures. The show is doing its best to keep things quiet so it can surprise the viewers, but he added that they are very close on settling on the names.

As for Britney Spears odds and possibilities to join the Fox show, it is quite complicated. It is known that her conservatorship is expected to be in the hands of Jason Trawick, her fiancé. According to Simon Cowell, his knowledge with the movie and show business will definitely work in the favor of the star joining the FOX show. This is why the show alongside Simon and her fiancée see that it is a good idea for Jason Trawick to petition to the court in order to become the co-conservator, but only on her personal life, as he doesn’t want to get into her finances. Simon sees that her father, Jamie, is not comfortable with Britney joining any show, he doesn’t want her to spend too much time on set; this is why it is better if her fiancé have co-conservator on her personal life. Simon Cowell said that Jason is very eager to help Britney joining the FOX show, and he expected to happen as Simon is planning to join his petition.
