Twin Peaks Season 1
Twin peaks is a TV drama series developed by Mark frost and David Lynch; it piloted on ABC in April 8, 1990 with seven more episodes aired up to the 10th of June 1991. The title of the series was taken from the setting of the story; Twin peaks is a fictional town in Washington. Most exterior shots were filmed in North Bend and Snoqualmie and in some parts of Southern California, while interior scenes were taken in a San Fernando Valley warehouse.
The story revolves around the FBI investigation on the murder of Laura Palmer, a popular homecoming queen and the girl who played Laura was Sheryl Lee, local girl from Seattle, who was supposed to only play as the dead teen, but she was so good in one scene that she did as alive that she became almost a regular appearing at flashbacks and as Maddy Ferguson Laura’s cousin who looks so much like her.

Truman, the one who discovered the dead body of Laura; Mädchen Amick (My Own Worst Enemy) as Shelly Johnson; Dana Ashbrook played Laura’s boyfriend, Bobby Briggs, the football captain; Richard Beymer portrayed Benjamin Horne; Lara Flynn Boyle played Donna Marie Hayward, Laura’s friend; Heather Graham as Annie Blackburn; David Duchovny as Dennis Bryson; Joan Chen as Josie Packard; Miguel Ferrer as F.B.I. Agent Albert Rosenfield; Ray Wise portrayed Laura’s father, Leland Palmer; Kiefer Sutherland as F.B.I. Agent Sam Stanley; Grace Zabriskie as Sarah Palmer; and many more.
The first season started with the discovery of Peter Martell, a logger, of a naked dead body wrapped in plastic on the river bank. The body was identified to be that of Laura palmer, daughter of prominent lawyer, Leland Palmer. The news of Laura’s death spread through town like wild fire, she was one of the most popular girls after all. It was Special Agent Dale Cooper who was assigned to handle the investigation that is going to be a long one; Kyle MacLachlan actually played his role for all the thirty episodes of the series.
