There have been a lot of rumors concerning the joining of the pop star Britney Spears to the cast of The X Factor as a judge. This recent addition would be to fill one of the two spots that got emptied by the departure of 2 female judges; Paula Abdul and Nicole Schrzinger. Both of them left by the end of season one of The X Factor. So she is expected to bring her star power to the show to replace one of these two. Simon Cowell commented on these rumors by saying that if it was up to him to get Britney Spears to join the show, he would do it instantly. This means that the rumors are not confirmed yet, but the way he talked about it gave everyone hope. This comment was a part of an interview during his ex American Idol’s radio show partner, Ryan Secrest.

He also said that the show will soon know if Britney the Toxic singer is going to join the cast for sure or not, this means that there are actually talks about it with Britney. He also added that there is a long list of names proposed by the show for people to replace the two departures. The show is doing its best to keep things quiet so it can surprise the viewers, but he added that they are very close on settling on the names.

As for Britney Spears odds and possibilities to join the Fox show, it is quite complicated. It is known that her conservatorship is expected to be in the hands of Jason Trawick, her fiancé. According to Simon Cowell, his knowledge with the movie and show business will definitely work in the favor of the star joining the FOX show. This is why the show alongside Simon and her fiancée see that it is a good idea for Jason Trawick to petition to the court in order to become the co-conservator, but only on her personal life, as he doesn’t want to get into her finances. Simon sees that her father, Jamie, is not comfortable with Britney joining any show, he doesn’t want her to spend too much time on set; this is why it is better if her fiancé have co-conservator on her personal life. Simon Cowell said that Jason is very eager to help Britney joining the FOX show, and he expected to happen as Simon is planning to join his petition.

This week’s episode of Grimm, which was named “Love Sick” was an amazing episode, it really helped in the building to a very powerful season finale. In fact, it was very interesting and exciting, never have we saw this level of excitement since the very famous episode “Last Grimm Standing”. The reason behind this is that there have been a lot of key elements that were always out of the spotlight and out of the circle of interest of the show, but on this episode they got integrated with the current storylines. These elements include the mystery of the key and Adalind. Finally these pieces of the puzzle finally got pushed into the picture.

Aunt Marie handed the key to Nick, making him promise to protect that key even if it means sacrificing his life. The covering of the key had a map, as for the destination of this map or what it leads to, it is still unknown. They key is basically a key to the door that will unlock a lot about Nick’s history, what strengthen this fact, is that Grimm has been stepping in a lot of history that we have no idea about and never saw, so this key must be the key, no pun intended. It also holds all the secrets of how the Grimms work and why do many Wesen act the way they act. While having Renard and his royal family controlling everything and wanting to have utter and complete control on everything, they will defiantly want the key to reveal all the secrets of the Grimms. This will defiantly cause some problems to Nick. Bottom of line, the royal family of Renard would want to have control over the key so they can control the Grimms and their business, hence, eliminating their competition.

Speaking of Renard, he was the king of mystery, as he always is. The writer did a pretty good job when it comes to his character and personality. He is very devious and conniving.  This led to people liking him despite being the bad guy. He is never frustrated, but on this episode, desperation seems to be finding its way into his heart as he defied his cousin and his family openly when it came to giving them the Grimm or the key. As for Hank, he is the king still, but the king of boredom. Everything with him is out of control, especially his infatuation with Adalind.

Onto another character, Adalind, she was part of the most entertaining scene of the episode, the final confrontation that she had with Nick. It was very fun and exciting to watch. Everyone predicted that she would lose and die, but much to our surprise, she only lost her powers, but not her life. While it is better, but for her, its much worse, as she would prefer death over losing her powers.

In this week’s episode of “In Plain Sight”, which was rightly named “Drag Me to Hell” we saw Mary facing all kids of trouble and heart hardship. She had to face lost love, new surprises and old love, and she had to deal with them all in one episode. This made this week’s episode one of the most hilarious yet heart touching episodes of “In Plain Sight” so far.

Mary was upset with Marshall as he didn’t tell her anything about his intent to propose to Abigail. She thought that since they are friends and partners, he should tell her such things, and she was absolutely right. Although, he didn’t hide it for any hideous reason, it is only because it is clear that he has some feelings towards her, unresolved feelings that they never talked about. Mary clearly has feelings towards him as well, because as soon as the news hit her, the expression on her face was the expression of a women who is feelings scared as she is about to lose something dear to her heart.

Despite the fact that they aren’t meant for each other, but the amount of unresolved emotions and feelings between them needs to be talked about. They both need some kind of closure so they can carry on with their lives. Unresolved feelings will last for a lifetime, no matter how much time passes, these feelings always come back. On the other hand, if they actually gave their relationship a chance and it failed, they will not be able to work together as friends and partners, because the nature of their bond would be totally different. So it’s a very risky and a complicated situation.

Onto another note, Raph has returned, it was very nice seeing him again. He met up with Mary, but although they were together before, but they both knew that they aren’t meant to be together. That’s why they were both fine with seeing each other and Mary seeing his new wife. They were very mature about it, instead of the usual teenage drama that happens in such situations. They were both genuinely happy for one another.

Speaking of which, Mary ended up in Kenny’s bed, although he is certainly not her soul mate or even a potential candidate, but this action was very fitting to Mary’s character and personality. She just left Raph and everything between them was over, and when Marshall tried to come close to her, she took off. So it was only logical for her to go with Kenny, he was basically the rebound guy and the distraction from all of the above. This will certainly be a short relationship.

This week’s episode of Fringe that was named “The Consultant” was a very interesting and exciting episode. In this episode, we saw Walter taking his first steps into being normal again, and into being one with the outer world again. These steps are quite an improvement when compared to the state that Walter was in when his son was lost, that’s why the primary motive for this change is his son’s return. Before this happens, he was locked up in his laboratory, he never went out, and he even slept in the lab. So he basically started to get out of his self-made shell this episode and started to interact with the world around him.

Walter crossed to the other universe, but still the storyline was very entertaining and exciting as we really get to see the dynamics between different characters, and it showed a lot of depth to certain characters. Although, the event that everyone was looking for didn’t happen, but it is bound to happen sooner or later, this event is the confrontation between the two Walters from the two worlds, it would be epic. Sadly, it didn’t happen, but everyone knows it will happen eventually.

In this episode we also got to know more about the end game of David Robert Jones, we found out that he is planning to destroy the two worlds and make them collapse. The reason for such evil plan was unknown until Walter gave us a lead. Jones paid a visit to Alt-Broyles’ house, although Alt-Broyles isn’t one of the shape shifters, but he was being held against his will by Jones with an experimental drug to be given to his boy as his son was on the verge of death. Love makes us do strange and unimaginable things, this was clear when Walter got asked by Alt-Broyles if he would regret or change the choice he made if he had the chance, the choice was the decision he took to save his son.

Alt-Broyles asked Walter this question because he was doing the same thing to his son, he was willing to do whatever it takes to save his son, and it seems he is willing to collapse both worlds by blowing the machine in order to save his son’s life. Looking back at the man he was before the event, he was such a loving man who despite having a lot of problems on his shoulder, he was caring and smiling. This is what made the decision he took to become Broyles very brave. This decision made him lose his life, wife, son and family. He isn’t going to be around them to explain anything, and he wouldn’t be by his wife’s side in times of need.

All in all, it was a very solid episode from “Fringe”. It had important and effective events that would have effects on the landscape of Fringe as a series.

Watching “House” is very interesting, as it is very exciting being in on all of the jokes he makes, and then watch how these jokes end. Although, this hasn’t been the case in this week’s episode “Gut Check” or last week’s episode “Blowing the Whistle”. On these two episodes we were on the other side of his jokes, we were the ones being jerked around. We didn’t laugh with Dr. House; we got laughed at by House.

On this week’s episode, House jerked Wilson around; he messed with him, probably to teach him a lesson. The whole episode was depending on a wild idea that House created to entertain himself which wasn’t fun to watch either. As for the reason behind the game that House played on Wilson, making him believe that he has a fake son was probably aiming to make him know that parenting him is the only kind of parent that he will need.

Now, onto another storyline, the patient of this episode, Taub gets affected by him, due to the fact that he is the enforcer on the hockey team, and Taub always been small built and always got bullied as a child. Thanks for the efforts made by Dr House, he and the patient, Bobby, decide to put their differences aside and they start to build a relation based on their common dreams and interests.

Speaking of dreams, it has been Bobby’s dream to be in a hockey team, he really liked hockey as a game, not just the ice fighting. As for Taub, despite starting his medical career as a cosmetic surgeon, but in fact, he wanted to be in diagnostic medicine. In order to achieve his goal, Taub lets go of his wealth as a plastic surgeon in order to join House’s team as a diagnostic doctor. Booby though, he doesn’t do the same thing, as he accepts the contract that’s worth $2.1 million. Come to think of it, who wouldn’t do that, his reason for doing that, as he told Taub, it is better to live half the dream that one dreams about, than not living it at all.

On the other hand, we got another story line, the storyline with Park and Chase. Park wants to get away from her demanding mom and she tells Chase all about it. Chase then acts like a gentlemen and asks her to come at his place to escape her mother. House doesn’t buy it; he tries to find out the real reasons behind such actions as he knows that Chase is a selfish man and only thinks of himself. Chase defends himself by saying that he is a good guy, and he doesn’t have devious reasons behind his actions. House doesn’t know what the reason is, but maybe is out of guilt.

All in all it was a decent episode, good but not great. Everyone is still waiting for something big to happen as we come closer to the season and series finale.

Last year, it was stated by Kristen Wiig that she plans to retire from playing two of her most known characters. Bubble haired Gilly and the rapid talking Penelope were these two characters, but obviously, a year after this statement, it turned out to be a fake statement. It was nothing more than a prank by Kristen Wiig, as she returned to 8H again and played her role as these two characters. All in all, the first hosting experience for Sofia Vergara as a host of Saturday Night Live was very funny and rigid. It was actually quite a nice surprise for the viewers; at least it was way better than the very unimpressive promos and ads that announced her return.

This episode of “Saturday Night Live” started with a very great opening, way better and more interesting that Mitt Romney usual lifeless opening. It was very great seeing Romney talking about the benefits and virtues of having diabetesas an adult. And the second sketch, the “Bein’ Quirky with Zooey Deschanel” hilarious.  Wiig’s Drew Barrymore is absolutely perfect.

Although the first time this sketch aired, it didn’t quite grab viewers’ attention and viewers didn’t like it. When it aired for a second time, the timing was much better and it really grabbed everyone’s attention. It actually served quite a few laughs and was interesting throughout the whole segment.

On this week, the SNL totally gave a blind eye to all of the independent artists and stars from YouTube.com in order to put One Direction in the spot light. The very famous “The X Factor” band that has been gaining a lot of attention and fame worldwide. On this episode they really showed the world why do people around the world care about the band, and why most teen agers have become diehard fans and followers. As for the Weekend Update on last night episode was simply Bobby Moynihan showcasing his good old character of the always drunk uncle. Whether it’s him mourning over the old times, or his rants about how much he hates technology.

Then it was time for “The Manuel Ortiz” segment of the show. This week’s Manuel Ortiz sketch was way better that what we usually get from it. This was probably due to the amazing outfit that Kristen Wigg was wearing, the hot prisoner costume. Not only that, but other things contributed in making this segment better than usual. For example, Bill Hader’s elastic face accompanied by the explanation given by Sofia Vergara’s on why she got abandoned when she was just a child.

To sum things up, it was a great episode, filed with new segments. As for the usual segments, thanks to some elements, they were way better than the usual.

Person of Interest is a TV crime drama series from CBS and it is inspired from a screenplay written by Jonathan Nolan and J. J. Abrams. The series premiered on September 22, 2011 and is scheduled for a full 22 episode season.

The series stars Michael Emerson as the mysterious billionaire Mr. Finch, who cleverly developed a computer program that will allow the government to prevent another 9/11 tragedy. Along eth way he also discovered that the program can be used to prevent other crimes by predicting the people who will be get involved in future crimes.

Other casts include: Jim Caviesel, who played Jesus Christ in The Passion of the Christ, as John Reese, a homeless man who happens to be a former U.S. Army Special Forces soldier and CIA field agent, Taraji P. Henson as Detective Carter a female NYPD detective who is determined to find Reese, Kevin Chapman as Detective Lionel Fusco a corrupt cop who becomes Reese’ source inside the police department and who becomes a big assets to Reese and Finch.

The story begins with Mr. Finch developing the program for the government and discovering that crimes can be prevented because he can identify the people who will be committing them or who will be possible victims through their Social Security numbers. Finch is a reclusive billionaire who requires the help of an expert to do the job that he cannot do. So he hired former government agent who was presumed dead, John Reese.

John Reese on the other hand becomes a homeless man after quitting his job when he lost his girlfriend to death and he became devastated with how the government he serves handled the situation. He agreed to work for Finch and eventually blackmails Detective Fusco to be his eye inside the police department. Reese also keeps crossing paths with Detective Carter who is determined to find out the real identity of Reese.

The Simpsons is an animated comedy series on Fox Broadcasting Company. The show was developed by Matt Groening and it tells the story of the funniest dysfunctional company of American television. The Simpsons is composed of beer-loving and quite unhealthy father, Homer; the hardworking wife and mother, Marge; the very proud ten-year old underachiever son, Bart; the eight year old genius daughter, Lisa; and the cute pacifier baby, Maggie.

The Simpson is a middle-class family living in Springfield, a fictional mid-sized town located in an undetermined state of the United States. Springfield is actually a place where anything goes and anything can happen. It does not really exist but it has a definite place in the hearts of the viewers of the series.

The Simpsons debuted on December 17, 1989 and it has broadcasted 498 episodes 22 seasons and the 23^rd season starts airing September 25, 2011. The Simpsons is actually the longest-running animated TV program in the US.

The animated series has 6 main cast members; Dan Castellaneta is voice of Homer Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Grandpa Simpson and any other male characters; Julie Kavner is the voice of Marge, Selma, Patty and other characters as well; Nancy Cartwright is the voice for Bart, Ralph Wiggum. Nelson Muntz and other kids’; Yeardley Smith is the voice of Lisa. Among the voice talents that portray the Simpsons, Nancy Cartwright is the only one who has professional voice training, while Yeardly Smith is the only one that voices only one character.

The other two cast members, Harry Shearer and Hank Azaria do not voice any of the Simpson, but rather they do voices of the town’s people and other guests characters.

Twin peaks is a TV drama series developed by Mark frost and David Lynch; it piloted on ABC in April 8, 1990 with seven more episodes aired up to the 10^th of June 1991. The title of the series was taken from the setting of the story; Twin peaks is a fictional town in Washington. Most exterior shots were filmed in North Bend and Snoqualmie and in some parts of Southern California, while interior scenes were taken in a San Fernando Valley warehouse.

The story revolves around the FBI investigation on the murder of Laura Palmer, a popular homecoming queen and the girl who played Laura was Sheryl Lee, local girl from Seattle, who was supposed to only play as the dead teen, but she was so good in one scene that she did as alive that she became almost a regular appearing at flashbacks and as Maddy Ferguson Laura’s cousin who looks so much like her.

The first season started with the discovery of Peter Martell, a logger, of a naked dead body wrapped in plastic on the river bank. The body was identified to be that of Laura palmer, daughter of prominent lawyer, Leland Palmer. The news of Laura’s death spread through town like wild fire, she was one of the most popular girls after all. It was Special Agent Dale Cooper who was assigned to handle the investigation that is going to be a long one; Kyle MacLachlan actually played his role for all the thirty episodes of the series.

Twin peaks was a very popular TV drama series from ABC and it premiered on April 8, 1990. It tells the story of the long FBI investigation of the death of Twin peaks homecoming queen, Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee of One Tree Hill and Dirty Sexy Money). The murder could have been like any other except that skeletons in the closets were freed after Laura died. Add the fact that Laura’s death caused a chain reaction of events in their small town.

Twin peaks season 2 follows Special Agent Dale Cooper’s (Kyle MacLachlan of Desperate Housewives) investigation on the case of Laura’s murder. He was shot and left lying on the floor and while he is in semi-lucid state, he begun seeing visions of a giant who tells him about three important things; a man in bag, owls that are not what they are and something about chemicals. The giant then takes his gold ring and promised it will be returned after Cooper understood what his visions mean.

Meanwhile, Laura’s father Leland Palmer (Ray Wise) returns to work; Leo Johnson (Eric Da Re), Laura’s narcotics supplier and Shelly’s husband, survives a shooting; Catherine Martell (Piper Laurie), Peter’s wife, survives a fire but faked her death so that she can take revenge on Benjamin Horne (Richard Beymer); Donna Hayward (Lara Flynn Boyle) met Harold Smith (Lenny Von Dohlen), an agoraphobic who has in his possession another of Laura’s diaries which Donna tries to steal with the assistance of Maddy Ferguson (also played by Shelly Lee).

Donna and Maddy is caught by Harold who eventually kills himself by hanging. Harold’s death results with Laura’s diary falling into the hands of the police. It was written there that Laura was sexually abused as a child by her father’s friend, Bob, and that she turned to drug abuse to be able to cope with the abuse she suffered.

Meanwhile, Cooper suspects Ben Horne as the killer, but Ben eventually admitted to having an affair with Laura and that he couldn’t possibly kill her because he loves her so much.

After that, Maddy is killed by Leland, who turns out to be Bob, Laura’s rapist. It then came to Cooper that the evil spirit roaming and causing havoc to twin peaks is actually Bob and Leland is its host. Bob finally lead Leland to commit suicide and he died in Coopers arms, finally free from Bob.
