30 Rock – Season 6 Episode 1 (Dance Like Nobody’s Watching)

30 Rock is a comedy TV series that pursues the life of Liz Lemon. Liz is a head writer of “TGS with Tracy Morgan” a Comedy show, and she has the misfortune of having to deal with a crazy start and an arrogant boss.

The previous seasons of 30 Rock have made some big impact on the viewers, which is why they have been waiting eagerly for this season.

The last season ended with Liz trying to relax until Tracy came and moved in next door. But Liz will not let that ruin her good mood. So in this episode, it was Tracy who was both puzzled and angry with the continual good mood that Liz was in. Dance like Nobody’s watching was really apt, since Liz did some jazz dances at the Madison Square Garden.

30 Rock

What could be a best part for an opening episode for 30 Rock than to put in some Liz and Jack on and off romance. This theme is simply a recurring one and it is like a book chapter that needs to be read once in a while. In the case of 30 Rock, it should be at least in one episode per season. The se xual tension between them is quite intense though very subtle too. The idea of not making the romance somewhat real only makes it more endearing for the viewers.

In this episode though, the se xual tension ended after Jack Drops off Liz at the movie theater. Liz is meeting her boyfriend. Yes, she has a boyfriend. That is the reason why she is so happy. The boyfriend’s face was not seen on the screen yet. This adds to the suspense for the coming season. This is another good idea from the writers.
